Greetings

Hello, I’m Josh.

Purpose

First, and foremost, I’m a Christ follower. I seek to be more like Jesus every day. To be very clear, I’m falling short with regularity but trying hard nonetheless.

Better Half

I’m a husband to Bre (first girl I ever had a crush on in the 3rd grade). She is the love of my life, mother of my children, and the one who keeps me grounded.

#dadlife

I’m a father to Jude Oliver, Lila Blue, Gwyn Estelle, and Ruby Jane. I couldn’t be more proud of the legacy I’m building through them. I take my job as the leader of my house very seriously. I strive to be legacy-minded and kingdom-focused in all I do.

Business

I’m a designer and serial entrepreneur with a bias towards action and persistence. I run a design studio called Hook, co-founded (and successfully exited) a D2C company called Big Blanket, and am currently writing my first book (more on that soon).

Standards > Goals

I’m trying (so hard) to maximize my time on this earth. I believe this life was not intended to be easy, but it can be full of joy and purpose when lived intentionally.

→ Here’s a more formal bio that someone once wrote about me:

Josh has a restless compulsion to be the best version of himself. He runs marathons, he reads books, he starts companies, he can hold his breath for 4 minutes, he once did 100,000 push-ups in a year. You know, stuff like that. He’d be the first person to tell you this approach is extreme, but it’s the way he’s wired.

His life experience includes a brief college basketball stint, an MTV reality show, a record deal with Warner Bros, a (New Year’s Eve) Times Square performance, a $20 million blanket company, and an ever-growing real estate portfolio.

Ask Josh about:

  • Running his first marathon fasted (worst day of his life)

  • Being selected as an All-Star at Michael Jordan basketball camp

  • Accidentally performing live on MTV (or click here and see for yourself)
